The Borderplex Alliance is a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic development and prosperity in the North American Borderplex region, which includes Cd. Juárez, El Paso, and southern New Mexico. As the go-to resource for regional ideas, information, and influence The Borderplex Alliance represents small business, corporate, community and educational leadership, all with a shared vision — bringing new investment and jobs to the borderplex region and creating a positive business climate.

The Borderplex Alliance proactively reaches out to state, federal, national and international corporations, municipalities, and individuals to promote the region and provide economic development, advocacy, and guidance to businesses seeking to expand their operations within the North American Borderplex.

The Borderplex Alliance is funded by the generous contributions of investors that believe in bringing economic prosperity to the North American Borderplex. As an investor-driven organization, our investors understand that regional growth is good for all businesses within our region and the communities in which we live.

The organization is privately funded by companies and individuals via investments, grants, and donations. The Borderplex Binational Economic Alliance is chartered as a 501(c)6, with a separate Foundation operating as a 501(c)3.

An investment in The Borderplex Alliance is an investment in our region. We currently have over 223 Investors representing more than 137 companies.

The Borderplex Alliance is the only binational economic development and policy advocacy organization along the U.S.-Mexico border. We believe in an integrated, regional approach to promoting economic prosperity, and are proud to represent communities on both sides of the border.

The Borderplex Alliance also serves as the PR and marketing arm of the region. Through our regional and national communications strategies, The Borderplex Alliance works to make the region more attractive to investors, residents, and visitors. By sharing the story of our region across the country and around the world, our goal is to promote a positive image of the Borderplex and dispel the negative myths that often surround our region.

Developing a highly-skilled, well-educated workforce is the most effective, sustainable way to promote economic development in the Borderplex region. Therefore, our organization works closely with regional educational and workforce development institutions to ensure that our region is home to a world-class talent pipeline.

An investment in The Borderplex Alliance is an investment in the future of the Borderplex region. We understand the complexities and nuances that make our region a one-of-a-kind place. Through our work in economic development, workforce development, communications, and advocacy, we are working hard to make the region a better place to live, work, and do business, and to share our story with the world.
